The Fourth Element Thermocline Long Sleeve Top is designed to be worn under a wetsuit. Thermocline Top provides increased thermal protection of the body core by the equivalent of an extra 2mm of neoprene, whilst being neutrally buoyant and maintaining the freedom of movement of the arms.
The Fourth Element Thermocline Long Sleeve Top will virtually eliminate the feeling of water coming in through the zip and considerably enhance thermal protection. On its own or worn with , the vest is perfect for core protection for summer paddling.
Equivalent to 2mm neoprene
The original neutrally buoyant wetsuit system, Fourth Element Thermocline, is lightweight, machine washable and equivalent to a 2mm neoprene wetsuit without the wetsuit, making it perfect for those allergic to neoprene. Now made using recycled ‘Ghost’ fishing nets, Thermocline is part of Fourth Element's OceanPositive collection.
